Engament Worker
I am Jill Green, I moved to Cornwall from Dorset in 2014, having been a Manager of a care company providing support to older people and those with physical disabilities.

Previously, I worked as Deputy Manager of a large community service providing support to young people and adults on the autism spectrum, then a respite service for young people with ASD and associated learning disabilities. I have experience in supporting young people with behaviours that challenge. I have a particular interest in communication and sensory issues associated with ASD.

I am married with 4 grown up children who all live away. In my ‘spare’ time I volunteer at a youth club, recycle old furniture and do some freelance illustrating.

It is my belief that it is never too late, or too early, to make a fresh start in life. Skilled, dedicated support can make the difference between surviving on the edge or thriving as an effective and positive member of the community.
