Hi I’m Tiff and I have lived in Cornwall all my life. Since leaving school I have had a great passion in supporting young people and helping them to build their future. I have passed my BA (Hons) Degree in education. I planned to go on to become a teacher, however my decision changed. This did not stop me supporting young people. I have worked in numerous jobs, including mainstream schools and alternative provisions. Whilst studying for my degree I worked within the kid’s clubs on cruise ships whilst travelling the world. Having this opportunity has given me a lot of experience.
My mother is a foster carer and I have supported her with many children which have come to stay with us. We have had children aged from new born to five years.
I am a bubbly, creative and energetic person that enjoys meeting new people. I always have a smile on my face, especially around children as I feel that having a positive atmosphere is vital when working with children.
I’m am currently undertaking my Post Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic skills and want to further this qualification to become a qualified play therapist to continue to support the young people of our future.
I look forward to using my experience to engage with and support young people of all ages through White Gold Cornwall.
