Hi I’m Patrick and have lived in Devon for eighteen years having moved here from the Lake District, via London.
I have worked in the public, private and charity sectors enjoying the variety that each position brought. I decided to go into the teaching profession in my early 40’s and loved the variety, challenges and helping students reach their potential.
Before retiring, I was Head of Sixth Form at a North Devon school dealing with a wide range of pastoral issues, as well as teaching 14 – 19 year olds.
I have a variety of hobbies including a smallholding, beekeeping, DIY and a love of travelling; I have been fortunate to travel extensively and continue to do so.
I am married with two grown up children.
